It’s truly a triathlon festival weekend at Challenge Kaiserwinkl-Walchsee on 29 June 2025 with something for everyone – Junior Challenge, Family Run, aquabike, aquathlon and of course the flagship middle distance race, either as an individual athlete or part of a relay team. So why not bring the family and enjoy a weekend in the alpine paradise of Walchsee!

The spectacular two lap 90km bike course heads through Austria’s Tirol region and an is undulating, challenging course with its approximately 1,200m of altitude difference. With breathtaking views of the surrounding area Challenge Kaiserwinkl-Walchsee boasts a truly unforgettable bike course that won Challenge Family Bike Course of the Year in 2021.

The 1.9km swim takes place in Lake Walchsee with its drinking quality water surrounded by the soaring peaks of the mighty Kaiser Massif mountain range.

The 21.1 km run is an undulating four loop course around Lake Walchsee as runners pass farm houses and through fields and meadows, all set against the backdrop of the Kaiser Massif. The finish line is situated in the heart of Walchsee, next to the transition area with beautiful view over the lake, surrounded by mountains and with an enthusiastic crowd celebrating the athletes crossing the finish line.
