Cancellations and partial refund of starting fees
Exchanging of entries is not possible.
A partial refund of the starting fee is possible for participants who cancel in writing to a certain date (receipt) via info@challenge-walchsee.at

From May 01, 2024 no refunds or transfers to 2025 are possible.
Possible bank fees are to the expense of participants.
Allround no worry package (optional bookable until April 30th, 2024)
Register with confidence with the comprehensive allround no worry package.
Circumstances can often change quickly, so if you don’t want to leave anything to chance, you can play it safe with Challenge Kaiserwinkl-Walchsee. With the optional comprehensive no worry package, registered middle distance (individual or relay) or aquabike athletes will not lose your entry fee when you cancel your registration for any reason.
Our comprehensive allround no worry package costs 35.00 euros and includes the following:
Extension/modification of the right of withdrawal (without giving reasons).
- Cancellation/withdrawal until 30 April 2024 – 100% refund of the entry fee or free of charge transfer to 2025
- Cancellation/withdrawal until 31 May 2024 – 85% refund of entry free or free of charge transfer to 2025
- Cancellation/withdrawal until 20 June 2024 – 70% refund of entry fee or re-booking to 2024 for € 59,- transfer fee.
In all cases it is not possible to transfer the payment to another participant or another race.
The comprehensive allround no worry package can be purchased until midnight on April 30th, 2024 via the online registration portal.
Pandemic cancellation policy
In case the race has to be cancelled by the event organizer due to the pandemic, the refund of the entry fee will be as follows:
- Middle distance and Aquabike: entry fee less € 45,- or free transfer to 2025
- Challenge Women: entry fee less € 3,- or free transfer to 2025
- Junior Challenge: full entry fee will be refunded or free transfer to 2025
- Aquathlon: entry fee less € 8,- or free transfer to 2025
