Local Stars Tjebbe Kaindl and Therese Feuersinger Set to Compete at Challenge Kaiserwinkl-Walchsee 2025

Two of Austria’s top triathletes, Tjebbe Kaindl and Therese Feuersinger, have confirmed their place on the start line for Challenge Kaiserwinkl-Walchsee on 29 June 2025.

Olympian, Tjebbe Kaindl, hailing from Bad Häring, returns to where his triathlon journey began, competing as a child in the Junior Challenge. Now a professional athlete on the World Triathlon Series circuit, Kaindl has achieved five career wins and twelve podium finishes, marking him as one of Austria’s brightest talents. His journey from local youth competitions to the global stage exemplifies the spirit of Challenge Kaiserwinkl-Walchsee.

After a mechanical issue forced her to withdraw from the 2024 race, Therese Feuersinger is determined to make a powerful comeback in front of a home crowd. A four-time national Sprint distance champion and 2022 Olympic distance champion, her presence promises some exciting racing ahead.

Challenge Kaiserwinkl-Walchsee offers a scenic and demanding course, featuring a 1.9 km swim in Lake Walchsee, a 90 km bike ride through the Tyrolean Alps, and a 21.1 km run around the lake. The event is renowned for its breathtaking landscape and warm Tyrolean hospitality.

Spectators can look forward to an exhilarating race as these local heroes compete against a strong field of international athletes. For more information and to register, visit challenge-walchsee.com.
